Normal operating range for cmv oil pressure gauge:When the car is running, the pressure of the lubricating oil is generally maintained at 0.2-0.5mpa. When the engine is idling, the oil pressure should not be lower than 0.1mpa.

1. Too low oil pressure will destroy the lubricating conditions of the engine, resulting in poor lubrication, cooling and cleaning, and will cause adhesion and wear of parts. Excessive clearance between crankshaft main journal and connecting rod journal and bearing, too low oil viscosity and rupture of filter element will cause too low oil pressure.

2. The oil pressure is too high, although it is rare, it will also destroy the normal lubrication conditions. If the viscosity of the oil is too large, the oil is deteriorated and glued, the filter element and oil passage are blocked, and the pressure regulating valve is not adjusted properly or cannot be opened, which will cause the oil pressure to be too high.

3. Excessive oil consumption, the ratio of normal engine oil consumption to gasoline is 0.5%-1%, if it is more than 1%, it is not normal. In addition to oil leakage, the reason for excessive oil consumption is more oil burning.Automobile fuel system has full oil return system and half oil return system. When the engine is running at idle speed, the reading of the oil pressure gauge is the idle speed working pressure of the fuel supply system, which is generally 0.25MPa or meets the technical requirements of the model. When detecting the idle speed working pressure, the oil pressure should rise to 0.3MPa when the vacuum tube on the fuel pressure regulator is pulled out, otherwise the oil pressure regulator should be replaced.
