oil pressure sensor fault
Low oil pressure : Fault phenomenon: The engine shakes, the acceleration is weak, and the oil pressure is low.
Possible causes of oil pressure sensor fault:
a. The gasoline pump is damaged and cannot reach the working pressure;
b. oil pipeline system leaks oil;
c. oil pressure regulator failure;
d. High pressure oil pump failure;
e. Failure of oil pressure regulating valve of high-pressure oil pump;
f. Incorrect oil filter (small pressure specification)
g. oil pressure sensor failure or related circuit failure.
Solution of oil pressure sensor fault:
a. Ask whether maintenance and operation have been done before the failure.
b. If there is a fault code, first read the fault code and record it to see if it occurs again, whether it is a historical fault or a current fault.
c. Use the oil pressure gauge to measure the oil pressure. If the oil pressure is consistent with that displayed on the data flow and is lower than the standard value, the fault is true. If not, first check the oil pressure sensor and its related circuit faults.
d. If the oil pressure is too low, check the oil line again to see if there is any leakage outside.
e. There is no external leakage, and then check the system for internal leakage and internal leakage. Please refer to the detection method later in the article. (In many cases, the rubber ring on the oil pump is aging, and the oil pressure regulator has been working, so it is unable to establish sufficient oil pressure).
f. Check whether the electronic oil pump is aged (it can be replaced directly in step 5 to quickly eliminate the fault).
Be careful:
a. When a high-pressure oil pump is installed on the vehicle, first find out whether it is a low-pressure oil circuit or a low-pressure oil circuit. If the oil pressure in the high-pressure oil circuit is low, first check the quality of the oil pressure regulating valve and high-pressure oil pump.
b. If the car owner said that the fault occurred after maintenance before inspection, he can first ask whether the oil filter was replaced (the wrong pressure specification was installed) or the oil pump was moved (no seal ring was installed), so as to achieve the purpose of rapid maintenance.
