oil pressure sensor switch function

The oil pressure switch is used to detect the engine oil pressure and feed back the signal to the CPU. After receiving the abnormal signal, the CPU will control the display screen to give an alarm, and the buzzer will give an alarm. Sliding resistance oil pressure sensor the engine oil pressure sensor is used to detect the size of the engine oil pressure. It is usually screwed in the oil duct of the cylinder block.

When the oil pressure increases, the oil pressure pushes the diaphragm to bend through the lubricating oil channel interface, and the diaphragm pushes the sliding arm to move to the low resistance position, so that the output current in the circuit increases; On the contrary, the diaphragm pushes the sliding arm to move to the position of high resistance, reducing the output current in the circuit, and finally indicating the oil pressure on the oil pressure gauge with a pointer.

Engine oil pressure alarm switch The engine oil pressure switch is usually installed on the main oil duct of the engine cylinder block to detect the engine oil pressure value. When it is lower than a specified value, the engine oil pressure warning lamp will be turned on. The oil pressure switch is composed of spring, diaphragm and contact.

When there is no oil pressure or low pressure, the spring pushes the diaphragm, and the contact is in the (ON) closed state; When the specified pressure is reached, the diaphragm overcomes the spring force to open the contact (OFF). The working principle of the oil pressure indicator (oil pressure warning lamp) .

The oil pressure indicator is installed in the combination instrument, and the pressure switch is installed on the engine lubricating oil circuit. The pressure switch is equipped with a diaphragm operated by oil pressure and a contact operated by oil pressure. When the oil pressure is lower than the specified value, the diaphragm does not have the force to push the spring, the contact is closed, and the indicator light is on; When the oil pressure is higher than the specified value, the diaphragm pushes up the spring, the contacts are separated, and the indicator light goes out to inform the driver that the oil pressure has reached the specified value. Normally, the contact action pressure is within the range of 30~50kPa.

The detection method of the oil pressure switch is as follows: after the ignition switch is turned on, the oil pressure indicator light does not light up. The fault is caused by the harness of the oil pressure indicator light falling off, or the filament is blown, or the fuse is blown. After the engine starts, when the oil pressure reaches the specified value, the oil pressure indicator will light up. The fault is caused by the poor action of the contact switch or the grounding of the harness.
