splitfire gauges oil temp gauge

The oil gauge display can be adjusted by the adjusting lever on the instrument. A popular water temperature gauge is displayed on the dashboard. The thermometer is a digital instrument, 50-130 ℃. The fuel gauge is displayed in digital form, 0-1/2-1, 0 indicates insufficient fuel; 1 means sufficient oil; When the oil pointer points to the red line, add fuel.

The precautions for using the fuel gauge are as follows:

1. Do not add fuel when the alarm light is on, because the gasoline pump is in the fuel tank, and the heat dissipation and lubrication depend on gasoline. Too little oil will be detrimental to the normal operation of the oil pump and reduce its service life;

2. It is not recommended to top up when refuelling, because gasoline expands when heated, volatilizes into gasoline vapor at high temperature in summer, and requires space to contain it. If there is no space for too much, gasoline vapor and even liquid gasoline will enter the carbon canister for storage. When the carbon canister is full, it escapes into the air, which not only wastes but also pollutes the environment.

3. Indication deviation. After replacing the battery or gasoline filter every day, or even after parking for one night, when the vehicle starts again, if you notice that the oil dipstick pointer is lower than the previously displayed position, it may be considered as a fault. In fact, it is a normal phenomenon, because there is negative pressure in the oil tank when the oil pump is working, the corresponding oil tank volume decreases, and the oil level is high. In addition, the natural display is on the high side. When the temperature drops, the oil tank is opened, the pressure is released, and the oil level drops accordingly, so it is normal to display deviation. However, the deviation generally does not exceed one pointer width.
