voltage gauge not working

There are three main types of vehicle voltmeter inoperative: no indication of voltmeter, high voltage indication and low voltage indication.

(1) The voltmeter has no indication. 1) If the fuse of the instrument line is blown, replace the fuse. 2) Replace the voltmeter if it is damaged. 3) If the conductor is open circuit, the conductor shall be connected.

(2) The voltage indication is too high. 1) If the regulator is damaged, replace the regulator. 2) If the voltmeter is out of order, calibrate the voltmeter.

(3) The voltage indication is too low. 1) If the regulator is damaged, replace the regulator. 2) If the generator does not generate electricity or the output power is insufficient, repair the generator and adjust the tightness of the fan drive belt. 3) If the voltmeter is out of order, calibrate the voltmeter. If the generator output circuit is grounded, remove the grounding.

Generally, insufficient voltage is a sign. For example, when driving at night, when the car is in neutral, or when the car stops at a red light, the light will obviously dim, which indicates that the service life of the battery is coming to an end. Because the neutral gear is the idle running of the engine, which is not enough to provide the power of night light. At this time, it is basically powered by the battery. When the service life of the battery is almost over, it is not enough to provide sufficient lighting power, so the light will be dimmed. Or when starting the car, I feel obvious lack of ignition power, and the speed of ignition is not as good as before. Turn on the engine. If the speed is normal and the light is slightly dimmed, it still has enough brightness, indicating that the battery is good and fully charged. If the engine appears weak and the light becomes very dark, it indicates that the battery is over discharged and should be charged immediately.

Generally, it is difficult to start and there are fault codes. In case of electronic power steering, there may also be temporary power failure. Generally, the service life of the battery is two years. If the battery cannot be charged at the end of its service life, it is best to replace it. It is difficult to start, the instrument displays the alarm of insufficient voltage, and other electrical equipment operate abnormally, which will affect!
