aftermarket fuel gauge with low fuel level light

All the fuel gauge sells from Nanjing Hemu is with the low fuel level light.Low fuel level means that there is less gasoline in the vehicle fuel tank, and the vehicle needs to be refueled in time. Generally, when the pointer of the fuel gauge is in the red area, the trip computer will indicate that the fuel level is low, and the low fuel warning light will light up. When we fill the vehicle with oil, the sensor detects that the oil level returns to normal, and the low oil level prompt will disappear automatically.

The low fuel level warning means that there is less gasoline in the vehicle fuel tank, and the vehicle must be filled with fuel immediately. Generally, when the fuel gauge needle is located in the red zone, the on-board computer will remind you that the fuel level is low, and at the same time, the low residual fuel alarm lamp will light up. After we fill the vehicle with oil, the sensor detects that the residual oil has recovered and the low fuel level alarm will automatically disappear. The amount of fuel is controlled by the float sensor in the fuel tank. After the sensor detects the fuel position, it feeds this signal back to the ECU, which then feeds it back to the instrument panel through comprehensive analysis. If the fuel quantity is too low, the fuel indicator will be on.

There are two main factors that cause the fuel indicator lamp to light up:

1. Fuel level position. The float sensor transmits this information by simply judging the liquid level position. It can be said that it is also related to the shape of the fuel tank, but in this respect, there is not much difference between different models.

2. Average fuel consumption in the near future. It is mainly a standard considered by ECU. If you drive in the urban area, stop and go, and the average fuel consumption is high, the indicator light will light up early; If you are driving at a high speed and the average fuel consumption is low, the indicator will light up later. The design is quite user-friendly. Some cars may not be equipped with this feature. Under normal circumstances, when the fuel warning light is on, the car can continue to drive because the fuel level sensor senses that the fuel level is insufficient. Generally, there is 5-7 liters of fuel in the fuel tank, and the car can still drive about 30-50 kilometers. This design is also to ensure that drivers and passengers can refuel in time. However, it is not allowed to drive for a long time in this state, because once the fuel is exhausted, the catalytic converter will be damaged.
