faria tachometer not working

First check whether there is a problem with the cable connected to the tachometer. Reason 1: the wire is broken (pull the wire core out to have a look), 2. It can't be tightened. (gears and gears do not include grounding). If there is no problem, it is the meter core problem. If it is the meter core problem, replace the meter core.

Most scooters such as faria have no engine tachometer, only an odometer and a speedometer, which are controlled by the speed gear in the front wheel through the flexible shaft (meter line). If the speedometer gear in the front wheel is damaged or the meter line is broken, falls off and slips, the odometer and speedometer will not move. Check the meter line and speed gear. If the vehicle has an engine tachometer, it is generally controlled by the power supplied by the igniter to the high-voltage package.

The tachometer of the faria doesn't rotate because the sensor of the code meter is broken. Remove the fixing nut of the speed line under the speedometer, draw out the speed line, then support the front wheel and turn it to see if the speed line rotates with it. If it turns, it indicates that it is the problem of the dial. It may be that the reduction gear in the dial is broken or loose, which is more troublesome, because there is no separate speed dial to sell, so it can only be replaced; If it doesn't turn, it means that the speed line may be broken or the counting claw in the front axle is excessively worn. Further check the speed line to see whether it can be pulled out from the front axle. If yes, replace the line. There is no need to replace the speedometer assembly.

Or the faria tachometers are either inductive or flexible. If it is inductive, check whether there is a problem with the inductive line. If the line is normal, the meter may be broken. If it is a flexible shaft, check whether the flexible axis is broken or falls off, and whether the tachometer gear on the engine is damaged. If the wire or gear is OK, the meter may be broken.

The working principle of the transmission system of the scooter is that the transmission mechanism of the pedal motorcycle is connected by a transmission belt through two plies. When the engine speed is running at idle speed, the two plies and the transmission belt are in a loose state; The motorcycle cannot be driven forward. When the engine speed increases, the two PLI discs begin to be closely connected with the belt through the action of centrifugal force, and the transmission ratio changes. The greater the engine speed, the greater the transmission ratio change, and the faster the vehicle speed.
