The normal temperature of engine oil is between 70 ° C and 90 ° C. The oil temperature will be higher locally, but generally will not exceed the water temperature. However, if there is a long-term trend of exceeding 120 degrees, it is necessary to check.

Reasons for excessive oil temperature:

Coolant defect. The cooling radiator is blocked. The coolant flow resistance increases due to scale or dirt in the water tank. The fan belt is loose, resulting in insufficient cold air overflow of the water tank. The water pump belt is loose or the water pump impeller is corroded, which reduces the coolant flow. The concentration of antifreeze coolant is too high. The thermostat fails to open after the temperature rises. There is air in the cooling system. At this time, the exhaust switch shall be used to discharge the air.
