When the water temperature sensor fails, the temperature signal of the hot car is often displayed when the cold car starts. ECU cannot get the signal of providing too rich mixture, and can only supply the thinner mixture of the engine (the signal of the hot car) , so it is difficult to start the engine when it is cold.In this case , it is necessary to check whether the plug contact of the water temperature sensor is normal or replace the water temperature sensor .

It should be noted that the sensor is an electronic original device on the automobile circuit. If this device breaks down, there is little room for repair , so we have to replace it. If you want to test it, the simple way is to put the water temperature sensor into the heating cup to heat it (pay attention not to submerge the plug part), and measure it with the "resistance gear" of the multimeter. When the temperature rises, the resistance should decrease. If there is no change, it proves that this thing is broken . If it is a slightly higher-grade car, when the water temperature sensor fails , its performance is: the car can't speed up, even if you step on the accelerator transmitter , it's difficult to speed up .
