Generally speaking, the standard antifreeze now is the formula of water glycol, and the boiling point of most antifreeze is about 110 degrees. If the water temperature is low, first check whether the vehicle is equipped with a thermostat and whether the thermostat works normally. After 15 minutes of heating up, you can touch whether the water tank has a temperature. If there is a temperature, it means that the thermostat is broken or there is no thermostat. If the thermostat is normal, check whether the water temperature sensor is normal. If it is abnormal, replace the water temperature sensor and check the instrument normally. It is recommended to go to the maintenance station for inspection.

The power supply of the jeep water temperature gauge comes from the power regulator. It is not allowed to connect it directly with the live wire of the power supply on the vehicle, otherwise the reading of the indicator will be inaccurate, and even the instrument will be damaged. Do not connect the wire between the water temperature gauge and the sensor to ground for fire test, so as to avoid burning out due to overheating of the heating coil. Ensure that the sensor is well sealed to prevent water leakage from invalidating the sensor. If the water temperature gauge and sensor of the car have been matched and damaged, the water temperature indicator or sensor of other models cannot be installed, and the new parts of the same model should be replaced. Check the internal resistance of the water temperature indicator. Check the resistance of the heating coil with the ohm gear of the multimeter. The value should be (36.6 + 1) Ω. If the measurement result does not meet the requirements, replace it with a new meter.
