Sundries in the fuel tank. At present, the core of all oil floats in the market is exposed, that is, the two contacts on the scribe and the white ceramic substrate. Swing the float rod to see the one that is scratched up and down. The exposed oil is in the fuel tank, or the liquid added to the fuel tank is soaked. As the car refuels more times, there are more sundries brought into the fuel tank, and the resistance part of the oil fuel level sensor will be polluted by sundries.
The oil fuel level sensor is always energized. Two wires of the oil float are connected to the fuel gauge of the instrument panel. Of course, when the instrument panel is powered on, the oil float is powered on . Therefore, one side of the oil float is in a poor environment . In addition , it is always powered on . After a long time, the two contacts of the oil float and the surface of the white substrate resistor will form a thin film , which will seriously corrode the conducting strips on the white substrate. There are many conducting strips on the white substrate (most of them are more than 35) . If one is broken , the indication of the fuel level gauge in the cab is abnormal .
It is recommended to go to the 4S store or repair shop to check . Maybe there is a problem with the fuel level gauge of the instrument . Replace the oil float resistance slider , which needs to be completed by a professional in the maintenance shop .
If there is no problem with the oil level sensor, it is likely that there is a problem with the oil fuel level gauge circuit of the instrument panel. At this time, the instrument panel should be removed , and the multimeter and pin should be used to find the corresponding oil gauge circuit on the instrument for detection .
If the fuel level gauge of the new car suddenly drops to zero and then does not move , it indicates that there is a problem with the sensor . You can directly replace it with the 4S store .
