Speedometer adjustment method:

1. The cause of this kind of fault is usually that the flexible shaft or sleeve of the speedometer is bent, and the flexible shaft is scratched with the sleeve when it rotates; The bearing of the speedometer speed disc shaft is worn and loose, which can also cause the pointer to swing during operation.During fault detection, the flexible shaft and sleeve shall be removed first to check whether the sleeve is bent or flattened. In case of the above phenomena, repair or replace them according to the damage degree. If the sleeve is in good condition, pull out the flexible shaft, hold its two ends to make the middle part sag, and rotate the hose by hand. If the middle part rises or falls greatly, it indicates that the flexible shaft is bent and needs to be replaced with a new one. If the above inspection shows that the flexible shaft and sleeve are normal, the speedometer should be disassembled to check the speed disc bearing. If the bushing is worn, it should also be replaced.
2.The speedometer pointer does not move
This kind of fault may be caused by two conditions: first, the speedometer itself is normal, while the fault is in the transmission part of the speedometer, which may be the broken speedometer shaft, serious wear at the shaft end or damage to the hairspring of the speedometer; Second, the odometer does not rotate, indicating that the driving parts of the speedometer and odometer are damaged, usually the flexible shaft is broken or the driving gear is damaged. After further disassembly and inspection, the damaged parts should be replaced.
3. The speedometer works normally and the meter does not turn.
This fault indicates that the transmission gear between the speedometer drive shaft and the first drum is damaged and cannot drive the drum to rotate. Disassemble and inspect, and replace the damaged word drum gear.
