how to hook up a fuel level gauge

The sensor is resistive. The red wire is connected to the signal and the blue wire is connected to the negative electrode. Moreover, after the oil tank is placed, the maximum oil level shall not be 2.5m higher than the base of the diesel generator set. If the oil level of the large oil depot is higher than 2.5m, a daily oil tank shall be added between the large oil depot and the diesel generator set to make the pressure of direct oil delivery not greater than 2.5m.It is mainly one positive and one negative wire on the oil meter, of which the positive wire must have electricity. The resistance on the oil float is also one in and one out, and then it can be connected in series with the two wires on the oil meter. The negative wire after series must be grounded.

The fuel gauge is generally located directly in front of the driving position of the vehicle and on the same dial as the water temperature, speed, speed and other indicators. Each gauge is distinguished by a simple icon. The fuel gauge is represented by a rectangular icon.

Working principle of fuel level gauge:
Today's vehicles generally have a fuel pump in the fuel tank. The computer controls it to extract fuel and transport the fuel to the engine.A float is installed on the fuel pump. The float itself is connected to a sliding resistance. Through the float floating up and down in the gasoline, the change of liquid level causes the change of resistance, so that different electrical signals will be transmitted to the engine computer.

Finally, after computer calculation, confirm the amount of fuel in the fuel tank.

It seems that the working principle of the fuel level gauge is quite scientific, but in fact, there are many factors that may cause the inaccurate display of the automobile fuel level gauge. For example, the float is stuck by the wire in the oil tank, or the wire that transmits the electric signal from the oil pump fails, or the engine computer has a problem, and so on. Many factors will affect the display of the automobile fuel level gauge.

1. No matter how many wires there are, it is mainly one positive wire and one negative wire on the fuel level gauge, and the positive wire must have electricity (which can be connected from the switch lock);

2. The resistance on the oil float is also one in and one out, and then it can be connected in series with the two wires on the oil meter. The negative wire after series must be grounded;

3. Don't be confused by too many lines. It is estimated that one of the yellow or blue lines is the positive pole (you can try separately to see if the pointer of the fuel level gauge reacts), and the black line may be the negative pole.
