oil pressure sensor oil leak

There are two cases of oil leakage. First, the oil leakage caused by the failure of installation or poor sealing can be solved by replacing the gasket or applying glue. The other is that the oil pressure sensing plug itself is faulty, and there is oil leakage inside. This problem can only be solved by replacing components. The oil pressure sensor is installed on the main oil channel of the engine. When the engine is running, the pressure measuring device detects the oil pressure, converts the pressure signal into an electrical signal and sends it to the signal processing circuit. After voltage amplification and current amplification, the amplified pressure signal is connected to the oil pressure indicator through the signal line, changing the ratio of the current passed by the two coils inside the oil pressure indicator, so as to indicate the engine oil pressure.

The pressure signal amplified by voltage and current is also compared with the alarm voltage set in the alarm circuit. When it is lower than the alarm voltage, the alarm circuit will output an alarm signal and light up the alarm lamp through the alarm line.

The reason why the oil sensor plug leaks is that the sensor plug is originally sealed layer by layer. It may leak if the rubber ring inside is damaged, or the plug is easy to leak. It is a vulnerable part. It is normal to replace it with another one. When replacing it, the values should also be different. Otherwise, the pressure of the oil pump will be insufficient and oil leakage will occur. There are also problems with the screw pattern and the oil pressure sensor itself. The oil sensing plug has a pressure value, and the oil pump is driven by the engine. Therefore, if you say that the idle speed is low, the alarm will be triggered, which should have a direct relationship. Let's see what's leaking? If the screw hole of the cylinder block leaks, try again. If the sensor leaks, replace it. If the oil leakage is not very serious, just change the oil when you change it! If it is not a mechanical fault, it should be cleaned and sealed. The oil sensing plug is used to measure the oil pressure of the internal combustion engine for alarm. When the pressure is lower than the design value, the contact is closed, the alarm light is on, and the pressure normal contact is open, the alarm light is off. If you are not sure at home and need to go to the store for inspection for specific reasons, you will feel more relieved.
