auto gauge tachometer wiring
When the vehicle is in use, the tachometer may not run or the other auto gauge may not indicate correctly. Therefore, the tachometer or other auto gauge and the corresponding printed circuit board need to be disassembled and replaced if necessary.
Remove the combination instrument from the vehicle, taking care not to damage the corresponding circuit. Remove the fastening screw of the white baffle of the other auto gauge behind the combination instrument, gently pull off the plug of the other auto gauge, be careful not to use too much force, lift the clip of the other auto gauge printed circuit board with a slotted screwdriver, and remove the other auto gauge printed circuit board. Remove the fastening screws that fix the front cover of the instrument, lift the black clip of the front cover of the instrument with a slotted screwdriver in the right hand, gently pull out the front cover of the instrument with the left hand, take out 6 bayonets in turn, and remove the front cover of the instrument. Note that the bayonets are plastic, and do not pry them too hard. Remove the copper nut fixing the tachometer printed circuit board, remove the screwdriver printed circuit board, and unplug the harness plug of the circuit board. Remove the 4 elastic washers and do not lose them. Remove old tachometer. Remove the 3 copper nuts at the rear of the other auto gauge, remove the elastic washer and place it, and then remove the other auto gauge.
when replacing the tachometer and its printed circuit board, it must be of the same model.
The power line and signal line of the sensor are directly connected to the instrument , and can be viewed from the back of the instrument . The color is exactly the same as that of the sensor . If the voltage cannot be measured when the ignition switch is turned on , it indicates that there is a problem with the instrument or circuit . The ground wire should be connected to the ground.
Confirm that there is voltage and the ground wire is normal . Detect the signal after wiring auto gauge tachometer . If the sensor is confirmed to be normal , and no signal is detected behind the instrument , it indicates that the signal wire is open circuit.
