oil pressure gauge autozone testing
Nowadays, there are test holes for reverse gear brake oil pressure, terminal clutch oil pressure, deceleration oil pressure, torque converter oil pressure, forced downshift brake oil pressure, and front clutch oil pressure on the automatic transmission. Remove the screw plug of the screw hole and install a pressure device to measure the oil pressure value of the transmission under various working conditions and detect the oil pressure of the automatic transmission in order to detect the status of each part of the transmission and eliminate the failure of the automatic transmission.
The transmission oil pressure is tested as follows:
1. After the engine and automatic transmission run to normal oil temperature, support the vehicle driving wheel.
2. Install the oil pressure gauge in the oil pressure screw hole to be tested, and then measure the oil pressure value of each part. The value shall meet the following standards:
① Test of deceleration oil pressure: put the gear change handle in neutral gear and the engine runs at idle speed; The second gear engine runs at idle speed; The fourth gear engine runs at about 2500r/min; The third gear engine runs at about 2500r/min; The second gear engine runs at about 1000r/min; The first gear engine runs at about 2500r/min; Reverse gear engine runs at 1000r/min; The pressure value shall be 360-490kPa.
② Forced downshift brake oil pressure test: put the gear change handle in gear 2 to make the engine run at idle speed, and the oil pressure should be 100-200kPa; Turn on the OD switch, shift the handle to gear 4, and the engine runs at about 2500r/min; Turn off the OD switch, put the handle into gear 3, and the engine runs at about 2500r/min; Put the handle into gear 2, and the engine runs at about 1000r/min, and the value should be 830-900kPa.
③ Oil pressure test of the front clutch: turn off the OD switch, shift the gear handle into gear 3, and the engine runs at about 2500r/min, and the oil value should be 830-900kPa; Put the gear change handle into reverse gear. When the engine is about 2500r/min, its pressure value is 1640-2240kPa. When the engine is running at 1000r/min, its value should be 1500kPa.
④ Oil pressure test of terminal clutch: turn on the OD switch of transmission, push the handle into gear 4, and the engine runs at a speed of about 2500r/min. The oil pressure should be 830-900kPa; Turn off the OD switch, place the handle in gear 3, and when the engine is about 2500r/min, its oil pressure should be 830-900kPa.
⑤ Reverse gear brake oil pressure test: put the transmission handle into gear 1, the engine runs at about 2500r/min, and the oil pressure should be 300-420kPa; Put the gear change handle into reverse gear, the engine will run at about 2500r/min, and its oil pressure should be 1640-2240kPa. Put the handle into reverse gear, and the engine will run at about 1000r/min, and its oil pressure should be 1500kPa.
⑥ Torque converter oil pressure test: turn on the OD switch of the transmission, push the handle into gear 4, and the engine runs at about 2500r/min; Close the OD switch of the transmission, push the transmission handle into gear 3, and the engine runs at 2500r/min; Push the handle into 2, and the engine runs at about 1000r/min; Push the handle into reverse gear, and the engine runs at about 2500r/min, and the oil pressure should be 350-450kPa.
